It all begins with an idea. Back in 2016, Andy realised that small businesses were getting a very standard service from traditional accountancy firms. The service was all about tax and compliance, and services hadn’t changed since ‘computerisation’ back in the 1990’s.

Andy’s experience as a Finance Director, Accountant and self-confessed ‘tech nerd’ led him to set up Abacus Jack. The vision was simple

At Abacus Jack, tax and compliance services are a given. As your accountants, of course we will take care of your annual accounts, tax and statutory obligations. But handing over a set of accounts once a year is no longer enough.

We believe accounts should be visual, insightful, and engaging. We believe small businesses can only grow and improve what they do by understanding their numbers.
