1. Set Up or Sign In to Your GOV.UK One Login

Before beginning the verification process, you must have a GOV.UK One Login account.

  • If you already use One Login, just sign in.

  • If not, you'll need to create an account — it only takes a few minutes.

  • Once you have signed into One Login, you can choose how to verify your identity. Usually this involves uploading documents such as your passport or driving licence. The service will give you a full list of acceptable documents
